Climate
Cambodia’ s climate is warm, humid and tropical. The maximum temperature ranges between 27.5 and 29.5 degree Celsius (Between
82 and 86 degree Fahrenhiet). Accordingly, to Africa, the Middle East or some regions of Asia, Cambodia’s climate is neither too warm nor too cool. This is advantageous for tourism because from one season to another, the temperature, on average, changes less than 4 degree Celsius. Based on the monsoon, Cambodia has two seasons-the dry season and rainy season. The dry season runs from November through April, When the dry wind blows from Siberia. We call this the northeastern monsoon. The rainy season run from May through October, when the wind blows from the sea, bringing with it rain. We call this the southwestern monsoon. The two seasons are not regular, however. They often vary in different parts of the country, as well as from year to year.
